• One internet line and no backup

The five questions that separate a bargain from a mistake

1. Can I sit here for a day first? A day pass costs a few hundred rupees and tells you more than any tour. If they will not allow it, that is your answer.
2. What is the internet, and what happens when it dies? Ask for the provider and whether there is a second line. Then run a video call from the desk at 3pm.
3. What is included, in writing? Electricity, air conditioning hours, meeting room credits, printing, parking. Cheap seats often unbundle everything.
4. How many people are actually here? An empty floor is a warning about the operator's finances, and your deposit sits with them.
5. What is the lock in and the notice? The lowest rates usually carry the longest commitment.

The rule of thumb

If a seat is more than 30% below the city median, ask why, and expect a real answer: an older building, a first floor with no lift, a young operator filling a floor, a location just off the main road. Any of those can be a genuine bargain.

If nobody can tell you why it is cheap, it is usually the deposit, the lock in or the internet.
