Day Pass Prices in India: What a Day at a Coworking Space Costs
Around ₹400 a day in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi, from ₹200 at the cheapest big operator. When a pass beats a monthly plan, and the number that tells you to switch.
A day pass is the cheapest honest way to try a workspace: you pay for a day, you sit, you leave. Here is what one costs across the 639 day pass spaces listed on Dexwork.
By city
| City | Cheaper end | Typical | Premium end |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hyderabad | ₹590 | ₹600 | ₹600 |
| Pune | ₹400 | ₹500 | ₹700 |
| Gurgaon | ₹499 | ₹500 | ₹650 |
| Chennai | ₹375 | ₹500 | ₹625 |
| Mumbai | ₹350 | ₹499 | ₹640 |
| Bengaluru | ₹300 | ₹450 | ₹600 |
| Delhi | ₹300 | ₹400 | ₹500 |
| Ahmedabad | ₹350 | ₹400 | ₹550 |
₹450 is the number to keep in your head. Below ₹300 you are usually looking at an open hall with no meeting room access. Above ₹650 you are paying for a Grade A tower, and the top flagship centres go past ₹3,000 for a day. Noida is the outlier on the other side, with a median near ₹700.
By operator
| Operator | Typical day pass |
|---|---|
| BHIVE | ₹200 |
| WeWork | ₹325 to ₹399 |
| Awfis | ₹374 |
| Smartworks | ₹499 |
| 91springboard | ₹500 |
Worth noticing: WeWork charges roughly the market rate for a day, while charging more than twice the market rate for a month. If you only need a good building occasionally, the day pass is the value buy in their range.

What is usually included
- A desk in the open area for the working day, typically 9am to 7pm
- Wifi, power, tea and coffee
- Common areas and, at most places, a phone booth
What usually is not: meeting rooms, printing, lockers, and access outside office hours. If you need a room for a client, book it separately and expect ₹475 to ₹4,500 an hour depending on the operator.
The switch point
A monthly seat is around ₹8,000 at the median. At ₹450 a day, that is 18 days. But nobody uses a workspace 21 days a month, so the real comparison is against how often you would actually go.
| Days a month | Day passes | Monthly seat | Cheaper |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | ₹1,800 | ₹8,000 | Day passes |
| 8 | ₹3,600 | ₹8,000 | Day passes |
| 12 | ₹5,400 | ₹8,000 | Day passes |
| 16 | ₹7,200 | ₹8,000 | Day passes, just |
| 18 | ₹8,100 | ₹8,000 | Line ball, take the monthly |
The monthly plan wins on the extras long before it wins on price: a fixed desk, storage, meeting room credits and the right to leave a monitor behind. If those matter, switch at twelve days rather than eighteen.
Who day passes are actually for
- Remote employees whose company pays for two or three days out of the house
- Hybrid teams meeting one or two fixed days a week
- Freelancers who work at home but need somewhere for client days
- Visiting colleagues from another city
- Anyone trying a building before signing a six month commitment. Two days in a space tells you more than any tour.
Three things to check before you book
Whether the pass is for a fixed desk or any free seat. Whether the wifi holds a video call at 3pm, not at 9am. And whether the price on the listing includes GST, because 18% on ₹450 is another ₹81 you had not counted.
