Virtual Office Prices in India: What You Should Pay, City by City
Between ₹1,500 and ₹2,300 a month in most cities, and Mumbai is the outlier at ₹2,319. Median prices from 407 virtual offices, plus the three things that move the number.
Virtual office pricing is quoted in a dozen ways: monthly, annual, with GST support, without it, plus a security deposit that appears at the end of the call. Here is the underlying market, from the 407 virtual offices listed on Dexwork across eleven cities.
What a GST ready plan costs
Median monthly price for a plan that includes the paperwork you need for GST registration:
| City | Cheaper end | Median | Premium end |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mumbai | ₹1,834 | ₹2,319 | ₹2,699 |
| Delhi | ₹1,546 | ₹2,000 | ₹2,500 |
| Ahmedabad | ₹1,417 | ₹2,000 | ₹3,084 |
| Bengaluru | ₹1,546 | ₹1,834 | ₹2,099 |
| Chennai | ₹1,299 | ₹1,834 | ₹2,399 |
| Pune | ₹1,299 | ₹1,728 | ₹1,917 |
| Hyderabad | ₹1,364 | ₹1,667 | ₹2,273 |
| Jaipur | ₹1,455 | ₹1,667 | ₹1,819 |
| Noida | ₹1,364 | ₹1,599 | ₹1,819 |
| Gurgaon | ₹1,000 | ₹1,500 | ₹2,499 |
So the honest national answer is ₹1,500 to ₹2,300 a month, or roughly ₹18,000 to ₹28,000 a year. Anything under ₹1,000 deserves a hard look at the building. Anything over ₹3,000 needs to be justifying itself with a genuinely prestigious address.
The three plan types, and why the price jumps
| Plan | What it does | Relative price |
|---|---|---|
| Business address | Use the address on your website, cards and invoices. Post handling. No registrations. | Cheapest |
| GST registration | Adds the rent agreement, NOC and utility bill a GST officer asks for, and support if an officer visits. | Middle |
| Company registration | The same paperwork accepted for your registered office with the Registrar of Companies. | Highest |
Buying the cheap plan and then needing GST is the most common mistake. The address is the same, the paperwork is not, and the upgrade usually costs more than starting on the right plan.

What moves the price
The building. A Grade A tower in BKC costs more than a business centre in Andheri, for the same service. If nobody will ever look up the address, do not pay for the postcode.
How many companies are already there. Cheap providers stack hundreds of registrations at one address. It saves you a few hundred rupees and raises your odds of a query during verification.
What happens when an officer visits. The good providers have staff who receive the officer, confirm you are a client and show the signage. The cheap ones have a phone number that rings out. This is the single biggest difference between a ₹1,300 plan and a ₹2,300 plan, and it is not printed anywhere.
Questions to ask before you pay
- Is the plan for GST, MCA registration or just an address? Get it in writing.
- How recent is the utility bill you will give me? It must be inside two months when I file.
- What do you do if an officer comes for physical verification?
- Will my company name be displayed at the premises?
- Is there a deposit, and what is the refund timeline?
- What happens at renewal, and what did last year's members pay?
Where a virtual office stops being enough
If you hold stock, you must declare where it sits. If your team needs a desk, you are buying the wrong product. And if you need GST in several states because your goods sit in warehouses across the country, that is a different setup again, one address per state.
